STERLING SILVER PROMISE RINGS

Q: What is a promise ring?

A promise ring is a symbol of commitment to someone special. Traditionally, promise rings were given ahead of an engagement ring, but some people believe that these pieces shouldn’t be reserved for just romantic partners. Men can also wear promise rings to demonstrate their love for their partner, unlike engagement rings, which are normally reserved for women. Discover everything you need to know about this meaningful jewellery trend in our Pandora promise rings guide.

Q: Which finger do you wear a promise ring?

There are no rules when it comes to wearing a Pandora promise ring. You might want to wear your promise ring on your ring finger before you get engaged. Alternatively, you could wear it on a different finger or on your right hand to leave your ring finger free for an engagement ring. No matter which finger you wear your promise ring on, the symbolism is what counts.

Q: Should promise rings match?

Pandora promise rings can be given as a gift, or two people can wear a matching pair to symbolise their bond. You could choose an identical pair of promise rings or shop for complementary rings that express your individuality. You could wear rings with the same metal finish or choose the same stones with different metals.

Q: How can I find the right promise ring size?

Find the right size for your Pandora promise ring by measuring the circumference of your finger using a tape measure or a piece of string. Alternatively, if you already have a few rings that fit comfortably, measure the diameter of your rings to get an idea of the size range. Use our ring size guide to convert your measurements into a ring size and shop for your perfect fit.

Q: Can I exchange a promise ring if it's the wrong size?

Yes – if your Pandora promise ring doesn’t fit, you can exchange it for a different size within 30 days of your purchase. If your promise ring has been engraved or personalised in any way, it won’t be eligible for a return. Learn more about our returns and exchange policy for online and in-store purchases.
