With every new collection, Pandora strives to create beautiful jewellery designs through skilled craftsmanship. Timeless or on-trend, our designs are always captivating; every piece is technically challenging to create and requires a vast amount of skill, patience and dedication to bring the vision to life.
A Labour of Love
On average, a piece of Pandora jewellery can pass through 25 pairs of hands throughout our elaborate crafting process. This means that no two pieces are exactly the same. The process is lengthy and painstaking – a true labour of love – and it requires precision. At the end of the process, each hand-finished piece of jewellery goes through a vigorous quality control process to ensure that embodies the impressive standards that define Pandora.
Creative Crafting Techniques
Design blueprints are given to our teams of talented craftspeople, who work their magic in a variety of stunning ways using different materials and methods. For shimmering stones and lustrous freshwater cultured pearls, we sort and select only the most beautiful to use on the jewellery, all in the same beautiful tones and perfect sizes. Our craftspeople also create ornate filigree and openwork structures, and pair polished metal with pavé-set stones, inspiring glass effects or enamel applied by hand for harmonious and intriguing visual contrasts. We use a mixture of materials and crafting techniques to create fantastical arrangements that span minimalist and maximalist styles, and the classical designs that have qualities of both. At our crafting facilities, metals are plated and a rainbow of sparkling stones are set in iconic settings, individually by hand.
